{He is Risen}

I have been thinking about Easter lately and hubby and I have been discussing what we want to do this year.  As a young family, we are just beginning to develop traditions.  We want them to be meaningful, especially when it comes to holidays.

Our culture has taken most holidays and removed Christ from them, but we want to keep these holidays reverent while also including some fun and silly traditions.

The past few years we have had a potluck on Easter, so I think we will continue to host one each year.  We did a small Easter basket for Addie last year that combined some books about Easter’s real meaning and some fun toys. We will do an egg hunt as well.  We are still working out the details for how we want to focus on Christ this Easter.

What are your Easter traditions? I’d love to hear them!

Enjoy this printable and feel free to save it for your own use.  I was inspired by some paper plates I found in the Dollar Spot at Target.  I plan to use them for our Easter potluck!
